We have just arrived home after being away and my IPad and phone are both asking me for a password to join my Bt hub 6. Despite trying a number of times with the correct password it is saying it is incorrect. An old IPad left at home is still connected to my BT Hub6. I have tried restarting the hub and various other things without success. Any help would be appreciated but please don’t make it too technical as myself and hubby are both in our 80s! Many thanks.

What are the other various things you have tried?
Have you tried restarting your iPads?
Make sure you are using the wireless password and not the Admin password and that you are connecting to the correct hub. The name / SSiD of your hub is on the label on the hub.
Thank you for replying. I’ve tried rebooting the IPad and am definitely not using the admin password. Tried putting it into aircraft mode and then turning off, turning off the IPad then turning it just very basic things I thought might help. Will probably end up contacting BT.
"An old IPad left at home is still connected to my BT Hub6."
If that is the case, it suggests the problem is not with the hub. Did you make any changes to your other iPad when you were on holiday, such as switching on WPA3, for example?
No we made no changes apart from signing in to the hotel’s Wi-Fi. My husband and I both have IPads and an IPhone and none of these will accept the password. Thank you for your reply.
Go into the devices and check the keyboards are still set for English (UK). Sometimes the region can reset automatically and if it's not connected since being back in the UK, it may be the wrong keyboard setting.
I suspect the devices are still trying to connect to the hotel WiFi. Delete or 'forget' any other networks showing on your devices.
We holidayed in this country. Thank you for your reply.
Hi @holmewood1964.
One more thing you can try is forgetting the BT Hub network on your device and reconnecting to it. This can help clear out any old saved details that might be causing the password to be rejected.
