wifi EE box
I had a problem with my BT wifi disc. The problem was dealt with efficiently and a new disc was dispatched.
What arrived was a square white box from EE. Although not as aesthetically pleasing it does appear to work.
Does any one know if the EE box is better technically than the BT disc or are they the same ?
Many thanks

Re: wifi EE box
Hi, @West I don't think that's right, it sounds like you've been sent a 4g wifi box that provides broadband over the mobile network.
Does it look like this?
Thanks

Re: wifi EE box
Neil
Thanks for reply and no it does not look like that.
It is a white almost square box with the EE circles in the front.
It is there the status lights emanate from with no other indicators on the box.
The paperwork does say it is manufactured by EE but brought to me by BT.
It is headed as SMART WIFI.
I am now wondering if I had a problem with my smarthub it will be replaced with the EE hub

Re: wifi EE box
BT Retail is rebranding to EE so what you've been sent is probably one of the new products with EE branding

Re: wifi EE box
Hi @West thanks for the description, yes that's an EE Smart Hub which is the equivalent of a BT Smart Hub 2.
Thanks
