Amazon Firestick - Ultimate HDR stopped on Discovery+ app

Hi. Can you tell me if the hdr stream is still working on the new firestick max gen 2? I have currently got really poor jumping/ stuttering on the ultimate channel using the app on an lg TV and Chromecast with Google TV.

Gen2 was working in HDR this weekend - although I'm unable to get 5.1 audio on it with Discovery+.
