I have been trying for a long time now to buy the BT Sport monthly pass.
I go to: https://www.bt.com/sport/buy/monthly-pass, and then follow the four steps, however it always fails at Step 4 where it says "Your card was declined, check the details". I have tried to purchase the monthly pass over the last couple of days, tried different computers, my laptop, my phone but no success. There are funds in my account. I have phoned up my bank, and they say that the issue is not with the bank. BT don't seem to be able to help me with the monthly pass as it is self-service.
I do not have BT broadband, nor do I have Sky TV or a BT phone line: but it is my understanding that I should be able to purchase the Monthly Pass and then stream BT Sport on my computer and through a Fire Stick.
I've checked the posts on the BT Community forum - tried different formats for my address, and that didn't work.
Can someone help me so I can watch the footy please?

So I still can't get BT sport to watch the football and no way to get any help from BT!!
We're seeing a few people reporting this issue, but cannot reproduce it ourselves. All signs point to the bank rejecting the payment, but in order to trace it through the various systems we need more details from you.
Could you please send me a DM with the BT ID you're using, and also your visitor ID. You can get this ID from your browser as follows (these instructions are for Chrome or Edge, but other browsers will be similar):
Developer Tools -> Application -> cookies -> select www.bt.com -> get the value of vtmvisD

I have sent through details as requested but still not hear anything back from you on this. Am I just not able to get BT Sport? My card works fine for all other online transactions.
