BT Sport 2

Go to solution

I have just had a mail drop telling me that my BT sports package runs out in August. At the moment I view all my BT sport via TNT on Discovery+ (mostly Rugby) which I like for the UHD option on most sports I watch. I had a look on the BT/EE site and I see there is a BT sports app2 which is just Rugby and Cricket, There is no price given but I guess it must be cheaper than the whole sport package? (a the moment I pay £11.47 per month but that was a special deal). Could BT sport2 still be viewed on Discovery+ if I opt for this? and has anyone any estimate of the likely price please.

There is no BT sport.  It's TNT sport available through the Discovery + app. The best price currently is £18 monthly.  They traditionally have a summer sale but last year it was only discontinued for 3 months. You will definitely not get the £10 offer again as that seems consigned to history.

Thank you, it looks like the cheapest price for sport is £23 a month. This will take my total monthly bill to over a £100 a month which is way to much for me as a 81 year old widowed pensioner. I think the biggest single cost for me is is the 150 full fibre with Halo 3 which is £65 a month - do you know if it is possible to drop the Halo 3 as I never use Hybrid connect or the complete wifi disc.  Should I put this query on a separate post?

Halo 3 is supposed to be an add on but from previous  posts it is very difficult to get the add on removed you need to phone  CS 03301234150 and keep insisting you want the halo 3 add on removed. It will not be easy
