Discovery+ Loop of Doom

I have the BTSport Mobile App and I’m trying to activate Discovery+, however, when following the BT instructions I just get stuck in a loop of continually having to verify my BT account. 

Yes, I have read the threads here with very similar problems and have tried the numerous suggestions over the past few days but haven’t been successful.

Today I  spent well over an hour on the phone as two different BT advisers attempted to resolve this issue but unfortunately they haven’t been able to.

I’m hoping that by coming here a BT Expert might be able to help.

I've never heard of a verification loop. Can you please let me know what you mean? What site do you start from, what steps do you follow, and what point does it loop?

When I eventually found the link to activate Diiscovery+ (which was well hidden in Products), I am asked to Confirm Account which takes me to a ‘Go to My BT’ button. This then takes me back to my Homepage and again, when I click on Activate Discovery+, the same thing keeps happening.

There are no options for D+ available under the ‘New for you’ heading as had been suggested by the phone advisers.

Those advisers went through this process a number of times and seemed stumped.

OK yes, I've found you.

You're correctly trying to follow the BT Mobile route which shows you error WB310 and tells you to use MyBT. MyBT then doesn't show you a tile to activate.

The problem is that the BT Sport entitlement on your BT ID is misconfigured - it doesn't have the BT Mobile flag on it (which is also why it incorrectly allowed you to use BT Sport on your Fire TV yesterday).

For audit purposes, can I please ask you to send me an email at tv.apps@bt.com with your BT ID and BT account number. I'll then raise a ticket for your account to be manually corrected.
