Email re TNT

I've had an email from BT informing me of changes to my TNT subs. It says that from July 1 TNT Sports 1-4 will be included in my package and I will be able to watch through Sky.

This is what I've always done so what on earth are BT on about?

Re: Email re TNT

@legoman26  If like me you previously only paid for the standard definition version of the channels on Sky , they are now only available in hd on sky

Re: Email re TNT

Thanks for the reply. Ever since I've had TNT (or it's previous incarnations) I've always paid for the HD channels and always had them as an option on my SkyQ channel list. I just have no idea what BTs email is meant to be telling me

Re: Email re TNT

@legoman26 you're currently paying extra to get the channels in HD. The email is telling you they'll be included in your package from July 1st - i.e. you'll no longer be charged extra for HD.

Re: Email re TNT

Thank you @DarrenDev . It would have been helpful if BT had actually said that!

I won't mark as solved until I see a reduction app at on my next BT monthly bill

Re: Email re TNT

I suspect it says TNT Sports 1-4 HD & not just 1-4 as per your op

Re: Email re TNT

Thanks for your reply. This is what the email says

"Your TNT Sports HD add-on currently includes HD channels 1–4, plus access to TNT Sports Ultimate in Ultra HD.

From July 1 2026, TNT Sports HD channels 1-4 will be included in your package so you can watch in HD on Sky. SD channels will no longer be available."

Makes no sense to me at all

Re: Email re TNT

I have never signed up for UHD so I don't see why I should be charged for it

Re: Email re TNT

Just checked and I have 3 entries on my bill

TNT Sports on Sky.             £xx

TNT Sports Second Box.  £xx

TNT Sports HD.                   £xx

So I think your comment about UHD is wrong, and again I question what on earth was BT's original email on about? It just makes no sense to me
