TNT Sports have the rights to show the NBA in the U.K. and Ireland in a multi year agreement.
The new ‘multi-year deal’ lasted 2, with the majority of coverage moving back to Sky from 2025.

Indeed. TNT Sports not looking too good at the moment as far as its rights for U.K. and Ireland are concerned. They have not renewed the European Champions and European Challenge Cups rugby union for next season, and these rights are expected to go to Premier Sports. A similar scenario looks like playing out with the National League for the 5th tier of English football rights. There are also reports that Frank Warren’s Queensbury boxing stable will move over to DAZN to join up with Eddie Hearn’s Marchroom after the TNT deal ends at the end of 2025. Also the carriage deal with Virgin has not been renewed which could result in TNT Sports disappearing from that platform. The French Ligue 1 rights have not been renewed for next season yet either, although a new 3 year deal for Serie A was announced earlier this week.
@Brucemeister5 they're now exploring a break up because Discovery/Warner have realised that the business model doesn't work. In the same way Disney has and all other streaming platforms apart from Prime and Netflix have and to a lesser degree, AppleTV but they're even cutting budgets. The streaming wars are imploding
