Problems getting Discovery Plus to work

I have signed up to the Discovery plus premium service to get the sports channels. From what I can make out, I am supposed to "Activate" the service in MyBT but it doesn't show up. I get a prompt and updating my card details if I want. If I click on My Products, it is briefly listed before the page updates back to asking if I want to update my card details.

If I go to the BT Sport app, I can get the sport channels but can't get in via the discovery website or apps. From what I have seen, the BT Sport app access will be going soon.

Any suggestions?

Any other service I have signed up for has resulted in easy access within minutes.

Looks like even though I created an account during the initial order process, I needed to do all that again.
