Why Can't I Cancel TNT Sport Online?

Apallingly bad PR for BT! Why there isn't a simple button to cancel, only BT knows, but probably so that their advisors can try and sell you something?

I was put on hold for ages, then spoke to someone who didn't seem to understand the problem and then put on hold again while she spoke to someone who did, and eventually I managed to get the package (which I didn't ask for, didn't use, was supposedly free, and now, wothout warning, was going to cost me £15 per month from November). I'm seriously thinking of leaving BT.

A couple of weeks later I decided to go along the route of ordering TNT Sports on a month by month basis directly from HBOMax. It worked out at £6 more than via BT but it is fully customable. And most importanlty it works by the click of a button on their website, enabling me to stop and start a month's viewing as often as I wish and avoding that awful and extremely annoying nonsense of hearing 'sales talk'.

As I don't want to watch TNT Sports every month and probably will only do so for  about 6 months of the year, the extra £6 is well worth it  to me.
