Freeview not working

My aerial is brand new. When the aerial us attached direct to TV, I get loads of channels including cbs reality etc etc. Since bt installation many of these channels are not visible. I have tried retuning and no luck. Please help

Did you select Internet mode when you set your box up?

If you did then you will need to:-

  1. Connect the aerial to the BT box and
  2.  Factory reset your BT TV box
  3. Repeat the setup instructions making sure you select Aerial Mode when asked, do not select Internet Mode or you will be back in the place where I suspect you currently are.

Hi @suzydental 👋

If it's via a BT box, as per @Les-Gibson advice, I can't help as I don't have one. But if not....

I had this problem last year and it was due to a 5G aerial being switched on near by. If this is the same for you then you will need to get a filter added on to your aerial if you are running it direct into a FV box. Apologies as I don't know where to get them from as I live in a HA  property so the bloke that came to sort it out had one ready to fit.

Probably sorted by now but........

If you are in aerial mode, make sure to switch on tuner bypass in settings to watch from the TVs inbuilt tuner whilst the box is turned off.
