Picture quality
My first day with BT after 25 years with Sky
bit disappointed with picture quality via internet connection
would I get a better picture if I connected via aerial or not ?

Re: Picture quality
Probably not, the internet delivered versions of Freeview channels are generally regarded as better than those from an aerial because they can use more bandwidth.
Have a play with the settings on the box, try a different HDMI and port on the TV would be my first recommendation.

Re: Picture quality
@murphymoo the HD terrestrial channels should be as good as Sky if not better because BT push them at 1080p.
SD channels should also be better than Sky as again they're at a higher resolution with less compression.
Sky's own channels should be as good as Sky because they're 1080p if you have the NowTV HD Boost.
Do you have the HD Boost as part of your pack?
