TNT & Sky Sports Channels Buffering

When trying to watch any of the TNT or Sky Sports channels on my BT TV Pro box it keeps buffering. If I watch the sports on the discovery plus and now tv app I have no problem. There is no problem with any of the other channels or the 2nd mini box that I have.

Anyone have any ideas as I'm confused

Is the pro box connected over WiFi? Is the mini? Are they both likely to have the same signal strength?
The live channels are a fixed bitrate so they'll work or they won't. In the apps, they lower the quality if the speed can't keep up.
