Sky -v- BT

Hello Everyone

I have been with Sky (TV only) for over 25 years now.  Inhave had BT Halo broadband for a couple of years.

It is that time of year where I look at what I am spending and have gone through the hideousness of talking to Sky (3 hours of my day lost yesterday- at one point the operator started singing to me - seriously).  Anyway, I got offers from both Sky and BT for everything.  I am erring towards changing to BT as that was a simpler customer service experience.  But, I am nervous.  I have always had the Sky dish and for all their faults I've never had an issue.  I am worried about how I receive TV without a dish (I have no aerial).  I know I sound daft, but it's a big step and TV in house is important as we watch all the Sky Sport channels etc. and as such I want good quality, uninterrupted service.  I welcome points of view from people on here as I can look at reviews on social media and that makes everything more unclear.

Thanks for your help.

Re: Sky -v- BT

If you dont have an ariael the BT TV Pro set up box gives you IP channels that delivers channels through the internet for basic internet channels. The list of channels are at https://www.bt.com/help/tv/guide/ip-freeview-guide

On top of that if you watch mostly just sky sports you can add the Big Sport package or if you want the sky entertainment channels as well I would recommend the VIP package which also gives you full discovery plus and Netflix standard. https://www.bt.com/packages/vip-tv-clinchers/
