im long time customer with virgin media and generally i am happy but prices are getting to high.
I would like some advice on the amount of times BT broadband goes down over a year and if speeds stay at what they should be?
I dont want to change providers to have more problems as i need it for work.
also how does BT operate these days? is a phone line no longer a requirement?
any help anyone can give would be great!
17 times.
worse than virgin media then.
and i will lose speed to get the price down too.
i guess ill have to see what they will be willing to put it down to when i threaten to leave.
We've been with BT for 7 years and our broadband has never failed.. There was a slight issue when we moved house because some idiot gave BT the wrong address ( me!) but they sent a 4G mini hub so we weren't offline.
Our connection is a rock solid 160mbps over FTTC with G-Fast enabled.
To get the best price from VM/O2 actually put your notice in, don't just threaten. Retentions will ring you a few days later with a good offer.
