Really no need for sarcasm - this is a help forum so please refrain from lecturing me.
You have entirely unrealistic expectations if you think BT will implement ANY new features on a what is a deprecated platform.

thanks
In case you are not aware, this is a BT residential customer to customer forum. Your post does not go to BT. The only BT staff are the forum moderators who do not necessarily read all the posts and have no control over what and what is not implemented into the BTMail service.
As I previously pointed out I doubt that BT would make any changes to their email platform, if for no other reason than they have stopped offering an email service to new BT customers since October 2022 which would tend to indicate that in line with other Broadband companies who have closed their email service, the BTMail email service has in my opinion a limited shelf life.

i really dont care what you may think.
If that is directed at me I will happily leave you and your thread but I will look forward to seeing how you get on with your fruitless quest.
You have a very strange way of dealing with people who were trying to help and answer your questions!
I have lots of better things to do such as watching paint dry rather than trying assist you any longer and as you responded to my last post, you apparently do care.
There is an extremely simple solution to your problem but I doubt you will consider it as you seem to think BT should provide a bespoke solution.
Simply implement Premium mail for a month, use a mail client to perform the functions you require and then revert to Basic Mail.
