For the last week every time I try to bring up an email address from the BT address book on an autofill basis it rejects it so I end up having to type the email address out in full. This is not just happening to me but also another user from another computer in my home. Has anyone else had the same problem and found a solution?
I had a long chat with a helpful bt techie who assured me the problem was not with bt. I tried a different browser from Firefox, DuckDuckGo, and the autofill address system started working again. So I wondered where the problem originated? I would prefer to stay with firefox

Why has Firefox suddenly had a problem after years of using it w BT? And it didn’t happen until January 16 th 3 days after a Firefox update on January 13 which I have had many times before with no problem
and it is ok on my iPhone only on the PC
secondly how to fix it ? I do not want to change browsers

Your options are wait for Firefox to fix it or change browser. Try Brave, very similar to Firefox.
