Image on email header

Hi,

I'm new here, can anyone tell me what the symbol below means in my email, and how to get rid of it.  Was cleaning out old emails and it suddenly appeared in one and also on my email header next to the FROM.  Thanks

Re: Image on email header

Just so you're aware, it might be a while before you get a response, mate.

Images go into quarantine initially, until a moderator releases them.  The only ones that can see it a the moment are the mods, the community leaders and you.

Re: Image on email header

Hi @Geo_K

Welcome to the community.

It looks like you may have switched on Conversation View in your inbox settings.

If you go to View at the top right of the inbox menu, then turn off Conversation View, that should remove it.

Let me know how that goes.

Michael

Re: Image on email header

I believe it is just a column heading which shows if you have replied or forwarded an email. The resulting arrow appears next to the email list.

Re: Image on email header

Hi Michael_D, sorry no joy, conversation view put a different icon between unknown icon and word from, bit like a filled in speech bubble.  So still there.  Good though I now understand the Coversation view icon, thanks for taking time to reply.

Re: Image on email header

Thanls for reply but it's never shown before when I've replied or forwarded an email and why only in this old email and now on my header?

Re: Image on email header

They don't look like anything to be worried about.

Have you tried hovering the pointer over them or right clicking on them?  Usually in a mail client that gives an indication of what they mean.
