BT Pro Box

Go to solution

I have just moved my pro box into another room and connected it to the Wi-Fi rather than directly to the hub via an Ethernet cable and now can’t watch any live tv channels. The signal strength is excellent but it appears that I can’t watch live TV unless it’s plumbed into the hub which is only any good if you have the box in the same room as the hub or have a disc which I don’t have. Am I right?

The Pro Box does support WiFi for live TV via the EPG. Are you trying to access Freeview without an aerial?

Hi, yes but I’ve also changed broadband suppliers so not sure if it’s that or the fact I’m trying to watch Freeview via Wi-Fi rather than the Ethernet cable?

If you've not got BT bb you can only get freeview via an aerial

Freeview via IP, either ethernet or WiFi is only available if you have BT Broadband and I believe you also need a BT TV subscription.
