Evening,
until very recently I have been able to use my Amazon Fire TV (4K -Version) to play back 4K HDR through the BT sport app. Nothing within my setup has changed.
However, recently I have not been able to. Using the device checker I get all green ticks except under 4K on the top row (Devices).
is anyone able to shed any light as to why? Any solutions?
thanks in advance.
Anyone able to help?
4K HDR works for everything else, Netflix, Amazon, Sky et al.
I did wonder if the device checker is reporting incorrectly because watching the United game last night definitely kicked HDR on. That being said, is it HD HDR? Rather than 4K HDR.
The device checker should report if UHD is capable - HDR will work if HD or UHD. I take it you have rebooted the Firestick as they dso sometimes seem to get in an odd state?
I'll have a look here at 7.30pm when the next event is available.

I've got all green ticks and full 4K/HDR.
Have you set the firestick to automatic video output resolution?
It being a TV rather than a stick may be the issue then.
Have just checked my 4K Stick and its giving me the full green ticks on device, including UHD and HDR. I was going to ask what version of stick you had, as there are a few generations of 4K stick, and i know that a few older ones are limited in capability.
