Asus RT-AC86U with Premium Channels on Youview

I have FTTP Fibre 300 and have switched to an Asus RT-AC86U. I have recently stopped getting the premium live channels, BT Sport Ultimate etc. I can watch other stuff on My BT like online view on demand stuff, just can't get the live channels.

I have done the usual reset router, reset set-top box etc to no avail. An extensive google search has given some advice but nothing that is up-to-date with the current router interface.

There must be a solution as it has worked in the past??? 

Any ideas guys and girls?

Are you getting any error messages, if so which ones?

Are you using the Huawei modem? if so try unplugging the DC input jack, don't just switch it off at the mains as the battery backup (if fitted) will keep it powered up

Typically tis could be down to the IPTV settings.

This screen shot is from my DSL-AC68U so maybe just a little different to yours:-

I am using the BT supplied Huawei modem. The error message is 'PC6023'.

Thanks Tim. I had found this on the interns but unfortunately the AC86U interface is slightly different. I don't know if that makes a difference.

Have you tried changing the default IGMP version?

To whatever other options are available in that box. IGMP snooping is what is required for multicast operation.

Thanks to everyone for the help. I lost the will to live and phoned BT (which is always a last resort).

The guy was really helpful. He said it's common for the live streaming channels to go down but still giving access to the video on demand stuff. They don't know why. His solution: unplug the MODEM for a full 10 minutes then power everything back up. Yes - switch off, with back on... It worked.

That's a couple of hours of my life I won't get back...
