BT Sport

Go to solution

My brother had BT broadband and a sky box and paid BT for BT sport. His son has since taken the Sky box with him as he was paying for Sky Q. My brother has since been paying for BT sport without being able to view it on his TV. What does he need to do - he may have an old sky box - would he be able to use this or does he need a BT youview box?

Your brothers BT Sport on Sky subscription still includes app access and the online player, he could keep paying the same price on the same terms that way.
Another option is to switch to BT Sport on BT TV, cost is around £15.50 per month, it does come with a 24 month minimum term, the broadband would also renew for the same 24 month term but the discounts on the broadband would renew at the same cost.
An old Sky box won't work, an active subscription is required to activate it.
