Caller ID stopped working

Hi, 

All of a sudden my caller ID stopped working. Called ID is added on my account, I have logged an issue but got a message saying it was resolved.... it isn't. Any ideas what to do next?

That is quite a common problem where the exchange configuration is lost, and is out of sync with your account.

To fix it, you need to remove the caller display option from MyBT, and progress that order.

Then wait 48 hours and add it again. That will reload the customer profile within 24 hours.

Hi, 

When it stopped I noticed it wasn't on the account so I  added it... waited... and that was weeks ago. BT say its all working their end.

Please check to see if Caller Display is switched on by entering the
code * # 234 #. If it's active you'll get the message Caller identity will
be displayed.

Just checked it, it says its on.

Then it could be a BT equipment issue, especially if you have broadband as well. I assume you have tried a different phone?

I am sorry for the problems you're having with Caller Display.  Very strange that it stopped working all of a sudden?!  We can pick this up and have a closer look at things for you from here.
