Can I ask Openreach engineer to update my Master Socket?

Hi

I moved to Openreach ecosystem from VM. The engineer will come this week to install my new line. So I wanted to know if the Openreach engineer can update my current Master socket to the latest MK4? 

Do I need to buy the MK4 socket or the openreach engineer have it with them?

Hi @ahmsajid, if the socket needs updating then the engineer will be able to complete this on his visit. You would not be required to provide the new socket. We can't give a definitive answer on what will happen so you will need to wait for the engineer visit.
