Had a BT email saying will be transferred to digital phone soon. Which says I can plug my existing phone into the Green socket on my Smart Hub 2. I have recently had FTTP installed with a new Smart Hub 2 which is connected to the ONT. Can I fit my existing phones to this Smart Hub2 as instructions show a FTTC Smart Hub 2 connected to the standard copper phone socket. Any advice will be appreciated

yes if it's a smart hub 2 there'll be a phone port (green) under a black sticker with white writing stating "Digital Voice" .
Yes, that is correct have found the Grenn phone socket, can a exiting standard phone work connected to that socket with the Smart Hub 2 connected to a FTTP ONT modem
Yeah, essentially the Smart Hub 2 is acting as a bridge that enables your phone to work over Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). It works the same way no matter if your broadband is via FTTC or FTTP.
Thanks for the info, much apprieciated
