No, its available according to some random Openreach engineer.

I'm not sure why people purport to offer help when they don't actually know the answer
@Rob364 's response explained the reason.
If you know VOiP is available to you why are you asking if it is then?
I never said it wasn’t available. I said it might not be.
You clearly didn't read fully what I posted. It wasn't just some random OpenReach engineer - which is offensive - it was also BT.
So, if you can't actually comment constructively why bother? Cleary a bored troll looking to up their ratings by posting rubbish.
Aspiring Expert - LOL
I didn't ask if it was available - try reading what I said.
You come onto the forum, ask a question that sounds like you already know the answer and then slag off everyone who trys to help you.
Troll, well if the cap fits!!

You had to speak to them beforehand as I said in my earlier post as there are limitations on what devices can be used.
The newer ONT's do not have a battery backup and they need to know if you have any means of communication, good Mobile network, that can be used in a power cut. Those who need good access to medical facilities and emergency services for whatever reason may have to be provided with an emergency back up power supply .
Couldn’t care less about those ratings they dish out.
I’ve never been one to seek recognition or want praise.
Not one for asking questions I know the answer to already either.
