When I ordered my Fibre service a month or so back, I enquired as to the availability of the Fibre 500 product on the BT live chat page. Apparently, it didn't exist - I could have either 150, 300 or 900.
Not feeling that 300 was worth the extra over 150, I ordered 150 and it went live last week.
However from reading around I've seen various people mention that Fibre 500 is still available to new customers. Does anyone know the definitive situation? Now that I am an existing customer what, if anything, can I do to move onto the Fibre 500 product?

You need to keep ringing them again mate, Heard of many getting upgraded to 500 from 300 when you finally speak to the correct person.
Trouble is half of the operators are reading from a sheet of answers and know very little in reality.

Do you have FTTP or G.Fast?
If he already has the option of the 910 package it won't be G-Fast

Gave them a call and spoke to a great chap who promptly upgraded me to 500 for the price of 300.
It appears to have started a new contract but given by original contract only started last week that's no real hardship.
