@blackwhite65  My iPad uses the 5GHz frequency and I've just tested with the router 4 metres away in an upstairs bedroom and the disk 1 metre away to my right. 73Mbps download, 100 upload.

It is a 7 year-old iPad Air which probably explains it. On a 2 year-old Android Motorola Moto I get 165 / 109.

Very hardware dependent. Does anyone have the latest iPad Air for comparison?

I was using an iphone SE a few months old to get these speeds.

@Keith_Beddoe As I started the topic thread drift doesn’t concern me. I’ve returned my Alexa phone and will be using my mobile instead.
