My connection has been getting slower and slower the past 2 weeks, and I'm getting high ms and packet loss in games. Last week I was sent a Qube engineer who did absolutely nothing, he looked at the socket and router and then said "Yeah that's fine" and that was about the extent of his expertise. So he phoned in and booked another "outside" engineer from Qube who was supposed to come today but never bothered. Now I'm waiting on a potential 3rd engineer on Wednesday. I just hope to God it's an Openreach engineer as the Qube people are useless and just want to leave as soon as they've arrived, or just never show up at all.
please can you post the stats from your router (if hub enter 192.168.1.254 in your browser) and if HH5 then go to troubleshooting then helpdesk and if HH6/SH2 then advanced settings then technical log information .
Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone. if cordless phone you may hear a 'dull hum' which is normal
Did you manage to move the master socket?
