Hi,
I am on Fibre 2 getting a reasonable 68Mbps but with a Ping of 43Ms. (this is from BT Wholesale Speed test)
So I guess I have two questions:
1) How can i reduce my Ping?
2)Xbox upstairs, what is best to improve WiFi? BT Complete WiFi Disc? TP Link Powerline Wifi Kit or Range Adapter?
Can anyone point me in the right direction
Cheers
Ian

Hi @Chromedome73 a ping of 43ms is quite good but using a wired connection to the Xbox would always be recommended to get an optimum ping. The Ping is the time it takes to reach the server you're communicating with so you have to consider where it's located in the world as this can also factor into how high it is.
Discs, ethernet adapters and extenders may all have a negative effect on ping times, I personally used to use ethernet powerline adapters on FTTC broadband and I averaged around 40ms. This has approximately halfed since going over to FTTP and now I'm directly wired to the Hub.
Thanks
Neil
Hi @NeilO
Thanks for your reply, so a powerline adapter is the best option for me? something like a TP Link TL-PA4010?
Thanks again
Ian
You could try BT Online chat for a set of BT's ones , might get them for £20 or less. I did .
@TimCurtis you can only get the discounted ones if you're a BT TV customer otherwise, they're full price.
Thanks
Neil
I've just Live chatted with BT & they are sending Mini Connectors F.O.C
