Leaving my elderly parents without internet

How can BT leave my elderly parents for close to a fortnight without an internet connection. They have no transport and rely on it for internet shopping , communication via FaceTime with family and friends and also for TV streaming services

They promised a seamless move from EE to themselves and now my 79 year old parents have no service until at least 9/6/21.

this is shocking service and I feel a complaint to OFCOM brewing. I am completely incensed by this outcome

they have talked to 6 different call centres and it has caused them much upset. Shame on you BT

Re: Leaving my elderly parents without internet

Hi @DoctorC

Welcome to the BT Community and thanks for your post.

I'm sorry for the delay connecting your Parent's service.  That's a long time to be waiting as I know how much they rely on having an active connection.

I have sent you a private message with instructions on how you can send us over your details and we'll look into this for you. See: Private messages

Cheers,

Robbie

That's absolutely ridiculous. If I were you I would just cancel the direct debit and go elsewhere.
