Make a new family plan from existing contract

I have broadband with a bolt on of a single SIM card with it, under one bill. I want to get my daughter a phone for Christmas and add another sim to my plan but can't find out how to just create a new family an with the SIM I already have, is there a way to do this?

I’m sure i did the same a few years ago, but i did have to call 150 to do it. 

It might also be determined by how long you have left on your existing contact. The family sim deals seem to be for 12 months with the additional sims being a rolling 30 days
