No Dolby Atmos on BT Sport App (Shield TV/Fire Stick)

So I think I have sorted it - using my Nvidia shield ! That seems to be much better ! Dolby atmos !

Dolby Atmos has been working flawlessly me for me today on the Shield TV.

Just jumping into this thread as I too am unable to receive Dolby atoms via my 4K firestick. Stick is connected to my amp, the amp is indicating that only 2 channels are being received. Currently watching the Tottenham Wolves game and only getting 2 channels.

Atmos seems fine via my shield - so good to have proper atmos back !!!

Just an update - I quit the app towards the end of the game and then rejoined the stream and I'm back to 2.0 audio with no way to get Atmos back again.  

This is generally how I join the streams - part way through the match.  Today I joined pre game and had no issues initially so not sure if that has anything to do with its inconsistency.

Just to update, just tuned into the Leeds/Everton game and Atmos is now being received by my AVR. So it does work when it wants to….

tonight on my Nvidia shield I only get pcm on my amp .. no atmos ..,
