Thanks very much for highlighting this issue to us. I am sorry for the frustration this is causing.
Yesterday we raised a case with Khoros to investigate. They have come back to confirm that they have cleared the Community cache and some things on their side and will restart the Community during the wee hours of tomorrow morning. Hopefully from tomorrow, you will see an improvement so please post back here to let me know if you are still seeing the 'Request too large' error message.
Rest assured if you see no improvement we will continue to investigate until we find a solution.
