I've had the bt whole home network hubs for a few years without major problems. Now I have to restart the hubs every time a device disconnects from the network e.g. mobile phones which are switched off each night. The firmware is upto date and I've tried resetting the 2.4 and 5Ghz channels with no success.
The mobile phones aren't Apple are they?
If so make sure that Private Addressing is turned off in the iPhones for your home wifi as the HomeHubs don't handle the continual adding of "new" devices too well as the allocation tables within the hub get full.
If this is the case then a full reset of the hub might be needed to clear all the old assignments.
Thanks. No they are samsung phones. How do i do a complete reset to dump previous used connections? I noticed we were also getting "couldn't Obtain ip address" errors as well
Factory reset is the only way.
