Router Upgrade

Hello,

I currently have a BT Smart Hub but have been thinking of replacing it.  I have  been getting random dropouts and connectivity is inconsistent through the house.

I had been looking at the nighthawk range but unsure which is suitable.

I have my BT smart Hub located in a hallway near the front door so cant have too many hubs/routers/devices taking up space.(Ideally just the one device connected to the wall)

Is it as simple as purchasing a modem/router that can replace the BT Smart hub?

Yes, as long as you get the right type. If you have fibre1 or fibre2 any VDSL modem/ router will suffice. If you have G.Fast your options are pretty limited.
