Unable to access website

Go to solution

Hi, I have BT fibre with a BT Homehub2. I received marketing info from a Garage ( Lookers) with various link to view cars. I am unable to open any of the links  on either my Windows Desktop PC or my I-Pad. I can open from the 4G network. On my desktop I get a message " Windows couldn't automatically detect this network proxy.

I was thinking it must be the Hub or a setting in the Hub as I am having the same trouble from the I-Pad/ iPhone and the PC. Can anyone offer any advice.

Is web protect turned on? If so try turning it off.

Re: Unable to access website

Hi apologies for my delay in responding, I turned off Web Protect and I was able to access the webpage. Strange it blocked it as it was a link to Charles Hurst / Lookers new and used cars site. Perhaps its because it wasn't a direct link from their marketing team;

Thanks for your help.
