VDSL supports RJ45

Just had BT engineer change our NTE5a to a modern OpenReach VDSL faceplate.
I heard the RJ11 socket can also fit a RJ45 cable too.

Does the BT router support RJ45 broadband input using one of the 4 gig ethernet RJ45 ports?

If not, I also own a LINKSYS WRT cable/fibre router. Possible to use this as a placement?

The BT Home hub has its VDSL input on a RJ11 socket. not one of its Ethernet ports.

You cannot use a cable router, it has to be a VDSL modem/router, so just use the BT Home hub instead.
