I have a HH 5A that has given connection speeds (reported at the hub too) of 40Mbps download and 7Mbps reliably for over a year. For the last 6 months the download shot up to 52Mbps and upload down to 0.8Mbps. 2 engineer visits who both said the problem lies in the calibration at the exchange but nothing changes. Phoning to report a problem only results in a circular discussion around only download speeds can be tested and guaranteed.
The BT availability checker gives me VDSL clean 57.2-40 download, 11.5-7.4 upload, Max observed speeds 50.75/1.18.
These results from Dell i7 connected by Cat6 cable to HH5A and Dell Optiplex ditto.
Where to I go from here?
in order for the forum members to help please can you post the stats from your hub enter 192.168.1.254 in your browser and then go to troubleshooting then helpdesk
Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone. if cordless phone you may hear a 'dull hum' which is normal
enter your phone number and post results remember to delete number https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL
Someone may then be able to offer help/assistance/suggestions to your problem

Hi - hub helpdesk:
As you have already had 2 engineer visits without any solution to your very low up speed I don't think there is anything you can do to improve the speed so I have asked forum mods to see if they can help. They will post here but are really busy so could be few days
Hi @atkinson59 Thanks for posting, I'm sorry to see you're experiencing problems with you're upload speed. I'll send you a private message in a moment so you can get in touch with the moderation team. We're really busy at the moment so it's taking us longer than normal to reply but we'll be happy to get this looked into if you send over your details.
