Box return fee - house flooded damage

Go to solution

Hi all,

I cancelled my package early as it was ridiculous with the price increases and I could no longer afford it.

I understand the cancellation charge as I'm not due to end till October however I will be charged for not returning my tv box. I no longer used this last year and at Christmas my house flooded and i was out for 3 months so it was damaged and I binned it not knowing I would be charged for non return.

Has anyone had anything similar and know of BT still charge you?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Hi @Ahxoxo1989 and welcome to the community.

Thanks for posting about returning the box. I'm sorry to hear your house flooded, I'm sure that was a horrible experience for you. I'm sure we can sort someting out about the box. I'll need a few details so check your inbox for my message and drop me over a reply.

Cheers

David
