Hi
Although I have wifi, for work I have to use an ethernet cable.
Rather that trailing an ethernet cable around the house, can I put a halo disc in the room I am working and plug an ethernet cable into the Halo 3 ?

Yes, that should work just fine, provided the disc is within range.
