Yeah realise this now after doing some digging last night.

What idiot decided that was a good idea? Seems a bit shady to be honest.

Tempted to just cancel the plan and roll down to 900...or buy a router/switch that has the multigig ports.

EE are rumoured to be launching another new router next year with Wifi 7

Hopefully that'll have more than just the WAN port as 2.5 gig, It might be worth trying to get that from them when it launches if you are the 1.6gbps package

Hello I have renewed my BT broadband in an EE shop, the have sent me a EE smart hub I have set this up and its working however seems slower that the BTHub5 that I had.  Is this correct or should I go back to the BTHub5
