I recently returned a mini hub (not actually used as an engineer came and fixed the fault before it even arrived!), and got an email saying it would be "either recycled or disposed of in a safe and environmentally friendly way". I'd assumed that they were sent out to the next person to need one - is anyone from BT able to clarify what happens to them?

Yes, they will be "recycled" ie sent out to another customer after it has been checked to be in working condition.

Hi @Duradulo, thanks for posting. Returned mini hubs are tested and if they are working ok will be sent out again to customers.
Cheers

Thanks, that's good to hear! It would be nice if they changed the wording to "reused" - sending them to waste would be horrendously wasteful!
