Whole Home Wi-Fi v1.02.13 build14 Full Release

Hi All,

Firmware Release v1.02.13 build14 has been made available on the firmware server as of Thursday 10th July 2025 for Whole Home Wi-Fi.

Changes since v1.0.2.13 build07:

  • General security and stability improvements

  Standard upgrade advice:

  • After the update, we recommend you leave your discs for a few hours to allow them to settle into their configuration
  • During this time your Wi-Fi connection will be working fine, but you may see lights turning orange and blue and short drops in connection. If this happens we recommend not moving your discs or adjusting any settings
  • When your network has settled, you may also notice that the disc layout displayed on the App is different or that your devices connect to a different disc – this is completely normal
  • If you have good internet connection on all your devices, your Whole Home Wi-Fi is working properly so there should be no need to tamper with its layout or network configuration

Hopefully this is now old news, and everyone impacted is sorted though.

Cheers

Re: Whole Home Wi-Fi v1.02.13 build14 Full Release

I am on v1.02.06 build11.

How do I update to the latest version? I tried using the firware update from within the app, but I get the message "There was a problem checking for the updates".

We have been having problems recently with BBC apps on our android phones. Other apps are ok and the BBC apps work on mobile data. The problem is only with BBC apps over our Whole Home WIFI network. I was hoping that updated firmware might fix the problem.

Do you have "Update automatically" selected in the app? My firmware updated automatically to v1.02.13 build 14 on 16 July last. This happens between 01.00 and 05.00 hrs because the WiFi network goes down as the update is installed.

Re: Whole Home Wi-Fi v1.02.13 build14 Full Release

Hi, I am on version v1.02.11 build02u
I believe this is down to being one of the original testers for the whole home system,
is there a way to upgrade the firmware as one of my discs have stopped working (showing solid red light) .
Any help appreciated.

Hi @Sonic1978

Thanks for coming back here.

To help you with the disc, I've sent you a private message to get some details 🙂

If you can take a look and get back to me, that would be great.

Thanks.

Leanne.

Re: Whole Home Wi-Fi v1.02.13 build14 Full Release

Since the update, certain apps on my Samsung S25 take an age to open and sometimes fail to open entirely and signs me out.

If I switch to the Vodafone router they behave as normal so it's definitely the discs and they were fine before the update.

The main 2 problem apps I've found are Skyline taxi app and Winedrops app but I'm sure there's more.

Add Dominos to the list of problem apps.

Re: Whole Home Wi-Fi v1.02.13 build14 Full Release

Is there a way I can roll this firmware back please?

This update is causing more and more issues using our android phones on the wifi, yesterday MS Teams was failing to open on a Pixel9a but worked fine when connecting to the base Vodafone router and bypassing the mesh.

Firmware v1.02.13 build14 improves security and stability. After updating, let your discs settle for a few hours—orange/blue lights or brief connection drops are normal. Don’t move discs or change settings; app layout may update automatically. If all devices have internet, your Wi-Fi is working fine.
