On my PC and in the browser, you can Pin an important email to the top of the Inbox until dealt with.
Why doesn't the BT Email app on my Android phone support Pinning?
Solved! Go to Solution.
You would be better asking the developers on the BTMail app on the Google Play Store.
This is a BT residential customer to customer forum. Your post does not go to BT. The only BT staff are the forum moderators who do not necessarily read all the posts.
However I will keep your coments in mind should you post seeking assistance in future.
Good morning @DaveOrr!
I've fed this back to our email team so we can be 100% sure, and they've confirmed that at present it's not something we support via the BT Email app.
If anything were to change we'd be sure to let you know, though!
Peter
We know pinning in the app isn't currently supported.
How about listening to customer feedback and putting this request on an Enhancement List?
Otherwise, you will update the app and miss the pinning request.
I doubt this will ever be added as doing as forum search I only found 2 posts about pinning so not something in high demand. The mods have passed on your request and if it should get added they will let you know. Bearing in mind that BT Mail is no longer available to new customers I suspect pinning will never happen
I would agree with you on that.
What I can not understand is why any one would want to use the very poor BTMail app in the first place when there are many far better free email apps available some of which do support pinning if that is what you want but I suppose its each to their own.
BT migrated me over to EE for broadband etc.
Does this mean that BT Email will be retired in future and I will lose my longstanding BT email address?
