3 months with no internet

Still waiting 3 months on …no internet at home!

just got sent a bill for £4313 to have fibre installed….it was supposedly £1500 3 months ago…INFLATION now almost 200%!!!

Are you a BT Residential customer or a BT Business Customer?

Who gave you that estimate for installation, as that sounds like a Fibre On Demand order, normally business only?

They cannot give me ANY date for installation, 1 week 1 year??? Who knows…BT certainly dont

excuse after excuse…

weekly telephone call update to basically tell me there is no update they are doing all they can.

Is it a residential or business order?

Its Openreach that provide the connection.

it’s residential. Openreach are a nightmare. There doesn’t seem to be any type of service level agreement between Bt and openreach so it seems openreach can just take as long as they want with zero repercussions!

I am not sure what you mean.

No one has given me an estimate. I stated I have been without internet for 3 months - no end in sight. They cannot give me a date when it will be installed ie 1 week 1 month 1 year??? Who knows? Certainly not BT. They appear unable to get any date from openreach

Who send you the bill, as you would not be expected to be billed by BT Retail until the service has been activated?

What you have probably received is an estimate, or a pro-forma invoice.

Openreach would have done survey, and that is what its likely to cost.

This sounds more like a Fibre On Demand estimate.
