You can get 2 or 1 year contracts on FTTP
Usually the 150Mbs option is around the same price as Fibre 2 though as you are out of contract on rolling monthly that usually increases the price so you might be able to get it cheaper by recontracting

I would at the drop of a hat.
Problem is its a company owned line and apparently BT only allow 3 year contracts for FTTP, currently its on a rolling monthly.
so does your employer pay the cost of your broadband package if it is a company owned line? if so is it classed as a business connection even though in residential property?
The copper switch off applies to the telephone network only. Internet over copper lines will be here for many years yet.

Yes that's correct.
so as a business account are you the account holder or your employer?
Then the account holder (your employer) would need to take it up with BTBusinnes. No-one here can help you.

The account holder did give permission, we had over a 1 hour session with BT repairs (see earlier post).
I posted on here for advice (on the technical side), and the answer is a DLM reset is required, however BT will not process this unless the line is faulty, below a trigger speed or an engineer is paid to attend.
Appreciate everyone's input by the way. 🙂
