Hi there,
I'm in the process of having a fibre broadband connected. The ducting from the kerbside to my house was installed alongside a garden border recently. I 'm in a queue to have the cable installed My question relates to the depth the duct. Is there a minimum standard to which Openreach ensure the ducting is buried. In places the earth barely covers the duct. Any gardening carried out using a fork is in places likely to impact on the installation...

Duct to the premises/building must be laid at a minimum depth of 250mm and be as straight as possible.
