i should be on fibre broadband but can you get fibre through your phone line as I’ve never heard of this into my BT hub.
Fibre to the cabinet, and copper to your house, that is FTTC but is often confused with full fibre, which is fibre direct to your house.
FTTC is very common and its possible that is what you have.
Full fibre ( FTTP ) and part fibre ( FTTC ) are both ‘fibre’ , the names describe the product , fibre to the premises, or fibre to the cabinet, anyone becoming a FTTC customer recently are made aware on the website if it’s FTTC then it clearly shows ’part Fibre’ ……. calling FTTC ‘fibre’ broadband has been the case for decades.
If you bought a broadband product , you were provided with a bespoke estimate of what speed you would get , and if that speed is being delivered, does it matter if it’s FTTC ( final part of connection over copper wires ) or FTTP ( full fibre ) ? , you generally buy a ‘speed’ the method of delivery is irrelevant if the speed is provided.
