if quiet line test ok then try using test socket with filter.
If the DLM was restricting your connection speed it would not affect the attainable speed but your attainable speed is only 10mb as well suggesting there is a connection problem
I am at this stage thinking DLM has limited the line due to the poor quality before I fixed the line, hence the upload has increased substantially however the download speed is being throttled by DLM?
BT do not throttle connections did you try the test socket with filter to see if that help by eliminating your master faceplate and your internal wiring
Yes, same speed with the faceplate off too
Then you need to phone CS 150 or 0800800150 from mobile and get another engineer visit as your connection speed is well below your expected speed

Hi @daley15, thanks for getting in touch.
Our tests located a fault (internal Bridge Tap) on the broadband service. You've arranged for the current active account to be closed and the services will transfer over to you on the 23rd of this month.
If the fault persists after the transfer has completed come back to us and we'll be happy to help you.
Cheers
John
